There are several types of lace from vintage lace to delicate sensual patterns.  Find one that best suits you, your look, and personality. 

One hot trend on the runway was sheer lace, either worn over top of a garment, or under a sheer dress or blouse.  If you are going to wear lace under a sheer dress be sure that the lace is solid and not thin like lingerie, it may have worked on the runways, but it doesn’t translate tastefully in real life.
